I chose these lovely and dainty 'Traditional Chinese Painting' Decals (you can find them here, the code is 6076)
You can see you get two sheets of decals in a range of different designs. Handily there are also instructions on how to use the decals at the back of each packet. Basically all you have to do is cut out the design you want, remove the plastic wrapping and submerge in water for about 15-20 seconds and then apply to the nail (the backing should slip right off them once they are wet!). Honestly sometimes I can make a right mess with decals but these were super easy to use and they applied neatly to the nail with wrinkling up!
For this manicure I used a base of Barry M's new matte shade Vanilla which is a rose almost lilac toned beige polish. Once this was fully dry I applied my decals and sealed with a coat of Seche Vite. To get my matte finish again I topped this with a quick coat of Essie Matte About You.
I think this manicure turned out great and I will have to purchase some more decals from Born Pretty (they have loads) as they really did apply really well to the nail.
I love how detailed this manicure looks but in reality how easy it was to apply. Remember if you are going to order form the Born Pretty Store to use my discount code BA5X31 (it's on the blog sidebar in case you use it at a later date!)
