There are a few different versions of each polish to accommodate this. There is a pre-mixed and bottled version that you can get if you live in the UK as well as a 'dehydrated' version in a bottle which you just have to add clear polish too as well as just a sachet of the mixture if you already have a bottle as well as the polish.
I received a pre-made bottle as well as a bottle to mix myself. As I was fascinated to see the process in action I wanted to show you the dehydrated version first!
This is Looe. As you can see you get about half a bottle of the powdered mixture to play with.
Be careful when you open your bottle as the powder coats the brush. I used a plastic tray to mix my polish on without getting pigment on my desk!
I used a cheapy bottle of Wet and Wild Clear as Nelly Polish states that any type of clear polish works even without suspension base.
I poured a little polish into the bottle and shook it up and added the rest. In hindsight I should have added all my clear at once as when I pulled my brush out to add more clear more non-mixed pigment came out of my bottle! I added the rest of my clear polish carefully and continued to shake up my bottle.
This is my bottle after mixing the clear base. As you can see the colour is really brought out now it is a liquid. The glitter suspends well in the base considering this isn't suspension base. I left my bottle overnight and while there was some sinkage of the glitter it wasn't drastic and a quick shake was all that was needed!
So now for some swatches. Looe is a mossy green jelly polish with scattered scarlet red and gold glitter. Because you all know that i'm not a fan of Visible Nail Line I decided to layer Looe over Barry M Spring Green.
This is two medium coats over the Barry M. Looe dries to a semi-matte finish but looks lush and juicy once I added a coat of Seche Vite. I like the fact that this polish isn't saturated with glitter, the little pops of red and gold give this polish an extra edge and is just enough to make this polish a real winner!
I think this polish seems even greater too because I helped to make this. I physically had to mix this polish myself. You get a great sense of achievement with this polish because of that fact.

I have one more Nelly creation to show you all tomorrow, so stay tuned for that too!
