Today I have the penultimate post in my countdown of the top ten Barry M Nail Paints. Today's post is a lovely polish that is totally bang on trend for 2013- a textured polish. I so hope that Barry M make some more textured polishes (hopefully neons) because they are by far my fav brand out of all the different textured polishes I have tried.
This pastel creamy sky blue beauty is Atlantic Road. Application of this polish is a breeze, this is two thin coats. The first coat applied rather streakily and I believed there was no way it would build up so quickly. Add to that the fact pastel polishes have a reputation for needing loads of coats to reach opacity. This polish however defied this to the extreme. The second coat applied amazingly well and was self leveling. Plus who doesn't love a matte pastel?
This is such a flattering shade on my short nails. It reminds me on the seaside.
I think the texture of these polishes are just right, they are gritty but not sharp and snaggy. It is a subtle effect that doesn't take away from the colour of the polish itself
Do you own this polish? Would it make it to your top ten? What do you think number one will be?
